I have long been a believer in the importance of reflection and gratitude and this week reminds us of how very grateful we should be.
This week has been the 80th commemoration of D-day. A time for solemn memories and expressions of gratitude. In France, the celebrations have been widespread.
Here I share a snapshot:
A look back at the 70th anniversary.
Almost exactly ten years ago, a group of Normandy Veterans from Norfolk posed for photos at Luc-sur-Mer to the delight of everyone lucky enough to be there. What a wonderful moment.
